The only place to go to see grassland birds in Sydney. A variety of western birds can be seen here if you are prepared to brave the grasslands in summer. Great for Barn Owls at night. Take care not to go onto private property.
I normally enter on Onus Lane, and from there you can explore the turf farms at your leisure. One tried-and-tested route involves following Onus Lane (which turns into Cornwells Rd), then after a few kms, turn right onto Cornwallis Rd and follow to the end.
